Clients and friends often ask what internet resources we use. This information is provided as a courtesy, without warranties or representations of any kind.
Whois information: This lists the owner and contact information for domain
names for most of the important registrars (each registrar maintains their own
whois database). It is one of the few search portals that covers multiple
registrars.

Registrar: We use a number of the lower priced domain registrars, including Gandi.com (based in France-12 euros/year) and GoDaddy.com (varies, but about $9.00/year).
Searching: We tend to use Google for everyday searches.
Searching for old material: It is possible to search for old versions of a web site using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.
Serve an ISP: If you need to serve an Internet Service Provider (ISP) with a legal document (subpoena or complaint), you can get up-to-date ISP contact information here. While we don't maintain this list, we have used it in the past with good results.
Identity theft: A growing number of people are asking us about identity theft. Substantial information is available on-line. One site we have found helpful is http://www.privacyrights.org/identity.htm
